I have known and worked with Brian Ramsookbhai for the last five years. In that time Brian has been the Site Manager on two large and difficult building sites that have required structural and spalling repairs, waterproofing and redecoration and I was the Project Manager responsible for the two contracts. The two contracts were at Summer View, Umhlanga Ridge in 2019-2020 and now more recently at High Ridge on 193 Ridge Road. I also had a lower key specification consultancy role on the Chartwell building in Umhlanga Rocks, which Brian was the site Manager. This building required a great deal of structural refurbishment work in conjunction with having to replaster certain elevations of the building. To all three of these projects, Brian showed his ability and experience in co- ordinating and managing the projects and completing them all inside the time duration and most importantly to a high quality and standard of workmanship. Another feature that Brian brought to these projects was his high regard and knowledge of the safety standards required for high rise buildings, all of which these three projects required. As a Project Manager to such refurbishment and redecoration high rise building contracts, it has been my pleasure to work with Brian. As the site manager, not only for his dedication of the contract at hand, but also his overall experienced building knowledge to which he freely gives to have the contract completed to the high standards he sets himself and the team he works with, but also to the project team. In conclusion, in my personal capacity from working with Brian, I would recommend him to any position or assignment that requires a highly experienced and knowledgeable contractor or project manager.
